FAQs

Can I participate remotely at this event? - This event is strictly remote so yes!

Can I start working on my project before the event? - No. In the interest of fairness, attendees should not be working on their projects before the hackathon begins and we do not allow participants to work on pre-existing projects. However, you can familiarize yourself with all the tools and technologies you intend to use beforehand!

What can I build during the event? - The event is open-ended and you are not required to solve any particular problem. Our goal is to help you bring a project you’re excited about to life by providing you with technical help, mentorship, and resources. We also provide inspiration for ideas we would like to see and there are many sponsors at the event who give out prizes for integrating their protocols and SDKs which you can build with

If I’m working on my project before the hackathon begins, will I be eligible for partner prizes? - BANGKOK BUIDL 2023 is not involved in the selection of any partner prizes and this is managed by the relevant internal team. Partners are able to award prizes to any project submitted on their technology and that meets the requirements of that prize bounty

When must I stop working on my project? - Once projects have been submitted and submission has officially closed, you should not be working on your project again until PRIZES have been officially paid out / distributed

Can I edit my project name, description, etc. after it is created? - Yes! You are able to edit this information as many times as you like up until the submission deadline.
